Portmagee Whiskey
James and John Murphy have opened a fantastic new distillery Portmagee Whiskey in their hometown, the beautiful fishing village of Portmagee. The Murphy brothers have created an authentic experience with the theme “Spirit of the Sea”. The Whiskey Experience takes place in two geodesic domes which provide a 360 degree Seine Boat experience. The fully immersive experience allows visitors to learn about the smuggling origins and fishing history of Portmagee.
On Sunday October 23rd the Murphy brothers are hosting an OPEN DAY at the Portmagee domes on Barrick Hill. The Whiskey distillery will be open from 10AM to 8PM and entrance to visitors will be free of charge ALL DAY. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Portmagee Whiskey the development of the distillery and the plans for the future of this fantastic attraction.
